Executive Suite with Harbour View

Enjoy life in one of our largest suites with a magnificent view over the Stockholm waterfront. Executive suites are available from 75 square meters /807 square feet including a bedroom and lounge. The bedroom features a comfy king-size bed and often a work desk or seating area as well. Otherwise, there’s plenty of room for work and enjoyment in the living room. Relax in the spacious bathroom featuring a separate shower and bath. One of our executive suites is particularly suited for disabled guests with special needs. Princess Lilian Suite

The Princess Lilian Suite is the ultimate luxury accommodation in the Nordic Region. Set atop the Grand Hôtel, this breathtaking 360 square meters (3552 square feet) Stockholm pied-à-terre blurs the line between hotel accommodation and residential apartment. Named after Princess Lilian, the suite boasts dazzling panorama views of Stockholm. With two bedrooms, a sitting room, a library, a kitchen, a spa area and an in-suite cinema, this magnificent retreat reflects the style of home that guests would choose to reside in themselves. The living room is planned down to the last detail with a sumptuous sofa group and a dinner table for twelve. The Flag Suite

At the very top of the hotel, overlooking the Stockholm waterfront and the Royal Palace, you’ll find the Flag Suite and the Rooftop Suite. While both suites have always been in a class of their own, they’re now even more exquisite thanks to a total make-over by the world-famous, Swedish-born interior architect Martin Brudnizki. Enter a space that you’ll never want to leave.

Fitness Center

We believe spas and gyms make perfect partners. So as well as our massages and treatments, we also offer a fully equipped fitness club. As well as all the latest Technogym equipment, the club has wonderful panoramic waterfront views of the city and the Royal Palace. There's also a private studio for yoga, stretch and other activities, including personal training, and healthy food and refreshments for body and soul at the refreshment bar.

Grand Café

In one of the small buildings on the quay in front of the hotel, you’ll find the Grand Café. Besides coffee, the menu includes delicious salads and sandwiches from our kitchen and desserts straight from our patisserie. Here you can take a seat in the sun, feasting your eyes on the waterfront, passing boats and the Royal Palace. Weekend strollers who enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee on their walk around Skeppsholmen will be happy to hear that we’re staying open after the summer.

Mathias Dahlgren - Matbaren

Matbaren is a modern bistro, an informal restaurant in keeping with the times. Enjoy one or more medium-sized dishes and accompanying wines by the glass, either served at a table or up at our large bar counter. Based on the very best of fresh seasonal produce, our menu changes on a daily basis. Feel free to stop by – we always keep a few seats available at the bar.

At Rutabaga, Dahlgren will build his vision of future cuisine featuring world class vegetarian dishes. Guests can expect a warm and welcoming restaurant experience in a relaxed and vibrant, high-tempo environment.

Terrassen

Sit outside at Terrasen and savor Mediterranean-inspired dishes or sip a glass of wine, while enjoying the view of the Royal Palace and the waterfront. In sea blue and raspberry red, framed by lush citrus and olive trees, our new summer oasis is elegant yet relaxed. We’ll be reopening again next year, when the sun comes out to play, serving refreshing drinks, good food and soft music until 10pm on rain-free evenings.

The Cadier Bar

Everybody feels at home at the Cadier Bar, Stockholmers and hotel guests alike. This spectacular bar is a popular gathering spot for an after work drink, informal meetings and nights out on the town, bubbling with Champagne. Hungry? Check out our bar menu. You’ll also find an à la carte breakfast, brunch, lunch and of course afternoon tea for those who have difficulty tearing themselves away from our comfy sofas. The bar is named after Régis Cadier, French chef and the founder of the hotel.

The Veranda Restaurant

The hotel’s first summer verandas were built over a century ago. Since then, the Veranda restaurant has been a favorite meeting place for Stockholmers and tourists alike. Following a thorough renovation, it is business as usual once again. Stop by and enjoy a marvelous breakfast, lunch or dinner, with a wonderful view of the waterfront and the Royal Palace. Or book a table for our delicious buffets and classic smorgasbord, served with the hotel’s very own snaps, Grand Aquavit 1874.
