Review of Serenade

April

Pros: see comments

Cons: see comments

Recommended: Yes

Serenade a new ship and well appointed. Food was quite good, staff efficient and friendly and entertainment was good with exception of Tina Turner impersonator. The excursions offer were also very good and informative. A very nice and relaxing vacation. The intense ship/barge commerce on the Mississippi fascinating.

Why We Love ACL

July

Pros: Simple arrangements in booking and getting to boat; friendly neighborhood-like atmosphere; comfortable areas and spacious staterooms; great menus; wonderful excursions for every taste!

Cons: Overhead walking track noise for us light sleepers, altho quiet staterooms!

Recommended: Yes

Relaxed, casual atmosphere with day light all over boat for reading, playing cards; Informative programs and history of the areas visiting, inspiring one to research further! Staff and crew out to make your trip most enjoyable; one realizes people are mostly the same, seeking enjoyment and making new friends.
